Supervision for LPC-Associates

 Sari has been in private practice since 2012 working solo alongside full-time work as a School Psychologist for 12 years. She has built my practice myself including creating my PLLC, subleasing or leasing office space, insurance accreditation, marketing, etc. you name it, and more recently, building our group practice where she now have many amazing counselors working alongside her growing their own practices. These are skills not taught in grad school but should be! She is happy to help you get there. Let's chat and see if we are a fit.  

 Sari has over 15 year experience completing Psychological Assessments in different settings and is looking for LPC-Associates who want to gain the training and experience in completing Psychological Assessments under her supervision. This will be a hands-on experience to learn to administer IQ tests, complete interviews, administer and interpret different assessment components, and gain the experience to complete full psychological assessments in her practice.

You will learn to:

• Administer Intellectual Ability and School Achievement tests
• Learn the components of psychological assessments
• Receive interview templates
• Gain experience completing parts of and eventually full psychological assessments
• Learn about appropriate psychometrics and how to choose appropriate test components
• Learn about different online rating scales to add to the assessment
• Free office space use for the assessments and practice
• 
  

Learning all this is a time consuming process and requires for you to do independent practice, readings, and studying to gain the skills. Regular weekly meetings are held to gain the knowledge in individual, didactic, and group settings.
