Cheyenne Zimmerman, LCP-Associate supervised by Sari Dangler, MS, LPC-S, SP

Cheyenne is a trauma-informed therapist with over six years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has worked across community mental health, inpatient, and outpatient settings, supporting clients through both crisis stabilization and longer-term treatment. Her approach is grounded, collaborative, and focused on helping clients feel safe enough to explore what they are experiencing and what may be keeping them stuck.

Cheyenne is especially interested in working with women and girls experiencing self esteem challenges, eating disorders, body image concerns, attachment-related patterns, postpartum depression, and the emotional impact of trauma. She also works with couples and families who want to improve communication, reduce conflict, and strengthen emotional connection.

She believes therapy is a collaborative process, where clients bring their lived experience and she brings clinical training, structure, and support. Together, the work focuses on understanding patterns, building emotional regulation skills, and creating meaningful change over time.

Cheyenne draws from DBT, RO-DBT, Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method interventions, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches, tailoring treatment to each client’s needs and goals.

Her goal is to provide a steady, supportive space where clients feel understood, supported, and able to move toward greater stability, connection, and self-understanding.
